A few years ago my wife and I wanted to get a dollhouse for our daughter but we couldn't find what we were looking for online or at any local shops.  I didn't want a cheap plastic dollhouse that would just take up space for a few years until she outgrew it.  I liked the look of traditional wood dollhouses but I wanted something that could be multifunctional and promote more open ended play.  Eventually I found some pictures online of a bookshelf dollhouse and decided to make one for her.  We fell in love with the simplicity of her dollhouse and she loves playing with it.   Since then I have developed a whole line of bookshelf and bedside table dollhouses that I hand make in Lexington, Kentucky.  They are designed to spark your child's imagination and become a permanent fixture in their room or playroom as they grow up.  I offer the pre-designed models but can also work with you to customize a bookshelf dollhouse just for you!
