This is our original dollhouse model, the first of which was built for our daughter. It is wonderful for open-ended play and ready to be populated by small friends. We love the Maileg mice who live in ours. There is a chimney with three fireplaces to add a sense of warmth. The loft railing is made of small metal posts and has a hand carved wooden railing on top. Once your child outgrows this piece as a dollhouse it functions perfectly as a sturdy bookshelf or display shelf for treasures.
